Prizes

Rules
Additional prizes will be added soon, and we’ll announce the prize breakdown once complete. You may start submitting your pet entries now to get a head start.
There will be a first round where pets will be categorized by residence: Clairemont, Bay Park, Linda Vista, Serra Mesa, or Kearny Mesa. (Bay Ho, Birdland, etc. pets will be categorized to their larger neighborhood).
The pets receiving the most votes in each neighborhood category will move to the finals where there will be another round of voting. The top vote receiver in this round will be awarded Explore Clairemont’s Cutest Pet in the Neighborhood. First round voting closes on December 8, 2025. Second round finalist voting closes on December 21, 2025. Winners will be announced December 22, 2025.

Explore Clairemont Pet Photo Contest — Official Rules
How to Enter
To enter, submit your entry form with your name, contact information, your pet’s name, and your address.
Entrants (both pets and owners) must reside in Clairemont, Bay Park, Bay Ho, Kearny Mesa, Linda Vista, Serra Mesa, or Birdland.
Proof of residency may be required at the time of awards.
If you have multiple pets, you may enter each one separately.
Pets of all kinds are welcome!
Photo Guidelines

Photos must clearly show your pet.

Photos should include only pets — no people.

Only one pet per photo.

Photos must not be altered, edited, or AI-generated.

Acceptance of submitted images is at the discretion of Explore Clairemont.

By submitting, you confirm that you own the rights to your photo and grant Explore Clairemont a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it for contest promotion, marketing, or editorial purposes.

Entrants retain ownership of their photos.
Voting
Each person may vote once per category.
Entrants may share their pet’s voting link via text, email, or social media to encourage friends and neighbors to vote.
Explore Clairemont reserves the right to disqualify entries or votes suspected of manipulation, falsified information, or any form of cheating.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top-voted pets in each category.
If a prize is not appropriate for a particular pet (for example, a dog-specific prize for a cat entry), it may be awarded to the next highest-voted eligible pet.
Prizes are non-transferable and may be substituted if unavailable or unsuitable, at Explore Clairemont’s discretion.
Winners will be notified via email within 7 days of contest closing.
In the event of a tie or dispute, Explore Clairemont may determine the winner by random draw or judge’s decision, and that decision will be final.

By entering, participants agree to allow Explore Clairemont to contact them about contest updates, winner announcements, and occasional community news.
Personal information will not be sold or shared outside of these purposes.
