Kyle Gillis is a Brooklyn-based comedian, musician, and Guinness World Record holder from Atlanta, GA. His stand-up highlights the contradictions of modern life—work that feels meaningless, a culture obsessed with productivity, and the absurd ways people cope with both. His act blends grounded emotional honesty with controlled chaos.

Gillis got his start performing stand-up in nontraditional DIY venues, drawing on his background in the underground music scene. Since then, he has appeared in Showtime’s 15 Things You Didn’t Know About Bigfoot and Comedy Central’s Robbie, and has performed at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Sweetwater 420 Fest, and NYC SketchFest.

He first gained recognition for his viral practical jokes, appearing on the CW Network to prank TV host Robert Irvine, and calling into local radio stations impersonating the band Smash Mouth. A regular at clubs across New York City, Gillis is also the co-founder of Bushwick Comedy Club, which was profiled in the New York Times. He performs at venues nationwide, headlining or opening for acts such as Mark Normand, Tom Segura, and Judah Friedlander. His clips have been viewed millions of times on Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit.
