Liz Ajuzie & The Moodswings are a 6-piece jazz band that formed in early 2024 from a collection of talented musicians inspired by the jazz greats like Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, and Sidney Bechet. Liz Ajuzie (vocals), Nico Lovell (vocals), Nightshade Navarro (sax), Dan Bailey (keys), Justice Guevara (bass), and Mike Masessa (drums) met in various bands and music events within the cultured San Diego music scene. Their brand of entertainment fuses charming vocals, soaring sax and piano solos, and a steady bass & drum groove to provide an exciting presence that will make you want to step into a time when people swayed on the dance floor and music flowed under the dazzling lights of the marquee.
