Melómano Beginner-Friendly Social

It’s BACK!!! The Beginner Friendly social! On Friday, October 10th!

Melómano is dedicating this night to the new dancers in the San Diego Dance Community who are just starting to dip their toes in the social dancing world. It can be a scary time for anyone who is trying to go social dancing! We got you!

How will this social be different?:
🔹 Beginner Friendly Classes
🔹 Social dancing tips (do’s and don’ts) will be given throughout the classes
🔹 Song tempo will be beginner friendly so there is time to properly execute the moves on the dance floor
🔹 Songs will be on the shorter side so you don’t have to worry if you don’t have that many moves yet!
🔹 DANCE AMBASSADORS! We will have nice and helpful Dance Ambassadors on hand asking newcomers to dance so it helps to take the pressure off of asking someone to dance.

Nominate a Dance Ambassador! The most requested ambassadors will be asked to join us but it is all based on your submissions! Make sure to let us know who you want us to invite by simply texting 619-675-8602 with your nomination.

Dance Lessons by Patrick and Diana will include special tips for beginners!

8:30pm beginner friendly Salsa class

9:10pm beginner friendly Bachata class
*You don’t need a partner for the class. We will rotate class participants.

9:50pm – Dance Ambassador introductions!

10pm to 1:30am Social Dancing
50/50 Salsa & Bachata Social dancing!
