Pacific Hope Church

Dear Friend,

Let us briefly introduce you to Pacific Hope Church on behalf of our entire church family. Our name helps define who we are in several important ways: First, “hope” is the very real byproduct of the grace we have received from God, and is the only reason we are here. Our hope rests firmly in the head of the Church, Jesus Christ. Secondly, the word “church” itself means “assembly.” Those who by God’s grace have been called out of darkness and into the light of His Kingdom are now drawn by the Holy Spirit into fellowship with Christ and one another. The church is not a building or an organization. The church is the people of God; the household of God. When we assemble together, we are the church.

We acknowledge the Bible as the very Word of God to mankind and, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we understand the importance of knowing and growing in obedience to His matchless Word. Therefore, the Elders of Pacific Hope Church are deeply committed to studying and teaching the Scriptures with attentiveness and authority. We firmly believe in equipping God’s people in the knowledge of His Word. We recognize that a well-equipped body of believers who know the Word of God make up the most confident and effective bearers of God’s Good News within the community. The focus of each worship service, Bible study, and Sunday School class is the proclamation of God’s Word.
