Pizza Cassette

Established in 2022 by Chef Jimmy, Pizza Cassette is a realized dream that started in 2014. At the time, Chef Jimmy was working for a hospitality restaurant in La Jolla, Catania Coastal Italian. After moving on to local favorites Buona Forchetta and Biga, he was able to hone and sharpen his skill set. In 2019, Chef Jimmy began working on moving ever closer to his dream and began a successful catering business while also taking on mobile pop-ups. All of his dedication and hard work paid off in 2022 when Pizza Cassette became a reality.
Chef Jimmy believes that delicious pizza is an art form and that the fire is the soul of the craft. Pizza Cassette’s wood-fired oven transforms fresh, house made ingredients into bold, flavorful creations with a perfectly charred crust alongside rustic charm. Each pizza is hand-stretched using house made dough, topped with locally sourced produce, premium meats, and house made sauces which delivers an authentic, artisan experience in every bite. Most items including the meatballs, corned beef, chicken, dressings, dough, etc are house made from Chef Jimmy’s brilliant mind and recipes he has created.
