San Diego Calvary Korean Church

was founded in 1989 by the grace of Jesus Christ and is located in the heart of San Diego, California. Affiliated with the International General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Korea, the church adheres to a Reformed faith that believes the Bible to be the Word of God.

Our church strives to be a “biblical community that trains believers to transform the world.” To achieve this dream, we are committed to training all believers through the Word and prayer to become true disciples of Christ. We pray that each and every one of our members will go out into the world and become a driving force for change through the Gospel and good deeds.

Our church also desires to be the body of Christ, rich in worship and fellowship. On Sundays, all believers gather together for worship, but on weekdays, we meet in small groups based on our own lives. Through these small group meetings, we share our lives and prayers, pursuing a life filled with the Holy Spirit.

Furthermore, our church recognizes that the future of this age rests with the next generation, and we are committed to nurturing the next generation with God’s Word. We prioritize church education so that our children, youth, and young college students can inherit the faith and belief of previous generations and become people filled with a holy vision.

Life is like a ship sailing on waves, often faced with constant hardship and difficulty. After struggling to overcome one wave, another, even bigger, comes crashing down. 샌디에고 갈보리 장로교회는 
예수 그리스도의 은혜로 말미암아 지난 1989년 설립되었으며 캘리포니아 샌디에고 중심지역에 위치해 있습니다. 본 교회는 대한 예수교 장로회 국제총회 소속으로, 성경을 하나님의 말씀으로 믿는 개혁주의 신앙에 근거한 교회입니다.

우리 교회는 ‘성도를 훈련시켜 세상을 변화시키는 성경적 공동체’를 지향합니다. 이 꿈을 이루기 위해 모든 성도들을 말씀과 기도로 훈련시켜 그리스도의 참된 제자로 만드는 일에 최선을 다하고 있으며, 성도 한 명 한 명이 세상으로 나아가 복음과 착한 행실로 세상을 변화시키는 주역이 되기를 기도하고 있습니다.

또한 우리 교회는 예배와 교제가 풍성한 그리스도의 몸이 되기를 소망합니다. 주일에는 모든 성도들이 모여 함께 예배를 드리지만, 평일에는 각자의 삶의 현장에서 작은 소그룹 모임을 가지며, 그 소그룹 모임을 통하여 삶과 기도 제목을 나누는 성령 충만한 생활을 추구합니다.

더불어 우리 교회는 이 시대의 미래가 다음 세대에게 달려 있음을 알기에, 다음 세대를 하나님의 말씀으로 세우는 일에 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 우리 어린 자녀들과 청소년, 청년 대학생들이 이전 세대의 믿음과 신앙을 계승하며, 거룩한 비전으로 가득한 사람들이 되도록 교회 교육에 우선순위를 두고 사역하고 있습니다.
