BAY HO

About Bay Ho

Bay Ho is an enclave in the northwestern section of Clairemont. Similar to Bay Park residents, Bay Ho residents enjoy a separate distinction from Clairemont.

The borders have become a little murky, but natives generally consider the boundaries of Bay Ho directly east of Morena Boulevard, west of Moraga Avenue, north of Balboa Avenue, and south of Idlewild Way. Huerafano Avenue is the unofficial main drag of Bay Ho.

Bay Ho is home to San Diego Harley Davidson and Costco.

History

Bay Ho began as a suburban housing development in 1954. In the 1970s, the Stonehaven housing development was built, offering a private housing community with lakes and other amenities.
