Have room for a regular hospital shift?
Sharp’s Metropolitan Medical Campus and Rady Children’s Hospital offer structured volunteer programs in Birdland. Kaiser San Diego Medical Center in Kearny Mesa offers similar volunteer programs.

Great list of volunteer opportunities. Thanks for pulling all this together!
Of course! Definitely some new ones I learned about.
There are also volunteer opportunities at Wee Companions small animal rescue in University City. Guinea pigs, bunnies, chinchillas- pretty much any animal smaller than an adult cat!
Awesome!
Terrific article! I think Serving Seniors Wellness Center at the corner of Balboa and Gennesse also has a lot of great volunteer opportunities, if you want to add at a later date. Thanks for this.
Thank you. I debated this one and decided to leave it off after some things I’ve discussed with the seniors at the Mt. Etna housing project.
